Create a clip if you have a song, poem, blessing, prayer, meditation, reading, art piece, or something else that you'd like to share.
To create a clip, you'll first have to login to your account. Then, go to your dashboard and click on “My clips.” Next click on “Create clip.” You will be required to give your clip a title and select the clip’s topic and subtopic. You can also choose to add tags and select a language. Select either the text, image, audio, or video option and input the media and/or text. If the clip content is not original, we encourage you to use the clip source field to indicate where you originally accessed the content.
If you scroll down, you’ll see the “Search on Sefaria” button. We have a partnership with Sefaria that provides access to their vast library of Jewish text. By clicking on this button, you’ll be able to search their library and add anything you find to your clip.
Image clips:
You can upload multiple images if you’d like. When uploading an image, you can choose either a PNG, GIF, or JPEG, and your file size must be 10 MB or less. Be sure that you own the rights to any photos that you upload.
Please note: If your clip features someone else’s creative work, such as their original writings or music, be sure that you have permission to upload their work, and include a link to the original source in the “clip source” field.
After you’ve saved your clip, you’ll be brought back to the “My clips” section of your dashboard. From here, you’ll be able to preview your clip or add it to a book.
